Our Coaches
All of our coaches are qualified level 1 calisthenics coaches and hold current level 2 first aid certificates as well as "working with children" checks.
We also have numerous valued assistants who help out at class and competitions.
Lesley
Tinies, Sub Juniors & Juniors
Lesley is the founder and principal coach of Melton Calisthenics Club. She has over 30 years experience as a coach, winning numerous aggregate titles over the years. She currently coaches Tinies, Juniors and Intermediates. Lesley has also taken students for their pupils skills exams over the years.
Helen
Intermediates
Helen is a newly qualified coach and experienced competitor. She has competed with Melton Calisthenics Club since the mid '90s and was part of the successful senior team that won every single competition in 2010. She has been a class assistant and cadet coach for several years prior to becoming a level 1 coach. She has trained pupils from all age groups.
Elyse
Seniors
Elyse is a seasoned calisthenics pupil who also fills in for the seniors when required. She is a former soloist who gained her grade 4 pupil skills. In past years Elyse has assisted with the Tinies, Juniors and Intermediates, and after becoming qualified in 2007, co-coached Seniors with Lesley. In 2009 she began flying solo coaching the Senior group. Elyse has also coached students for their pupils skills exams.
Kim
Masters
Kim started calisthenics (aged 2) at Kayden Calisthenics Club, before competing for a year with Horsham, then moving back to Kayden, which had become Northcrest. In 2004 she moved to Melton CC and was part of the senior team that won the C.V.I state titles that year. (Incidently so were Lesley and Kylie!) She has over 25 years experience as a calisthenics participant, and gained her coaching qualifications in 2006. She, along with cadet coach Michelle, started the Masters group in 2007 and is continuing to coach and perform with the Masters. Kim has also coached pupils skills.
